It’s almost here! Early Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins one week from tomorrow on July 13th! So what does this mean and how do I gain early access, what else do I need to know about the sale, and what are some of the tricks to shopping the sale? These might be some of the questions you find yourself asking. Well have no fear Classical Trendsetter is here to answer all of your #Nsale questions.
What is Early Access?
Early Access to the sale is given to Nordstrom Card holders. Card holders have the opportunity to shop the sale 7 days prior to public access on July 21st. This allows those customers the privilege to snag some of the most popular items before they sell out as many of them do before public access begins.
What Is The Nordstrom Card And How Can I Get One?
The Nordstrom Card is exactly what it sounds like. It is the store’s credit card, but what most people don’t know is that there is an option to get it as a debit card instead of a credit card. I happened to have opted for the latter option. The debit card is called the Nordstrom Retail Card. Both cards give you practically the same benefits and there is no interest when it comes to a debit card.

What Else Do I Need To Know About The Sale?
Well the answer is A LOT!
First off yes early access begins both in-store and online on July 13th. However did you know that the online access opens at 12:01 am Pacific Time on the 13th? Well if you didn’t now you do.
When you shop in-store how do you find the items included in the sale? Once you enter the store it will be extremely obvious where these items are. You will see some sort of barriers dividing the regular products from those included in the sale. For example my store uses these really pretty sheer curtains.
Do I have to have the Nordstrom Card to shop this sale? The answer is both YES and NO. If you plan to shop the early access then yes you need the card and yes you have to purchase the items with your Nordstrom Card. However, if you plan on being patient and holding out for public access then no you do not need the Nordstrom Card.
What Are Some Of The Tricks To Shopping The Sale?
Set a budget. This is a must to make sure that you don’t over spend. Because boy is it easy to over spend at this sale. Mostly because of the extensive amount of options and because the deals are just that good.
Check out what your favorite bloggers are buying. Odds are these items will go fast due to how heavily they will be promoted plus you will get a plethora of tips on how to style them.
Have a list of what items you want to buy. Do you really need a new pair of boots, or maybe you’re looking for some really cute fall dresses? Whatever you’re looking for stick to the type of items you’re searching for to help you stay on budget.
Schedule an appointment with a stylist. If you really aren’t sure what to look for or what to get you can schedule an appointment through your local Nordstrom Store to have a personal stylist who can recommend items that will suit you and your style.
Order online with in-store pickup. This is a huge tool especially if you’re worried that the item will sell out in-store before you get there. Plus once you get there you can try it on; and if you don’t like it you can return or exchange it immediately. And hello… no shipping costs!
Know the hashtags. All of your favorite Instagramers will be using a certain set of hashtags to promote and inform their readers about the sale. This will include information about sizing, what items are or are not worth the price and so on. In fact, be sure to follow me on Instagram as I will be sharing a lot of this information in the coming weeks. Anywho the most popular hashtags are: #Nsale, #Nordstrom, #NordstromSale, and of course #NordstromAnniversarySale.
